Bio
Chase is a disabled veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 2014 to 2020 as a hydraulics mechanic on the KC-135 Air Refueling aircraft. He has a 9-year-old son who’s an avid wrestler, a wonderful girlfriend who works for the state police, two loving dogs, and a 15-year-old Maine Coon who’s happily claimed Chase’s bed as his own.

Higher Ground Moving is a people-first moving company based in Bend, Oregon. They opened in 2019 out of a garage with one rented truck and a mission to do things differently — better systems, better culture, and a better experience for both the crew and the customer.
They specialize in residential and office moves, full-service packing, and labor-only help for local contractors, property managers, and businesses. Thier damage rate stays below 1% year after year because they care more, train harder, and don't cut corners. They bring joy and professionalism into a space that's usually filled with stress and chaos.

“I called Higher Ground Moving to have my daughter's household goods picked up, stored for a few months then delivered once she got her new apartment... and they did NOT disappoint! The moment Ruby answered the phone I knew I'd called the right place! She is a gem! Tyler, Conner and Conner (there are two of them!) came out and picked up all of the belongings and did a phenomenal job! Once we got notice that my daughter's apartment was ready we called Ruby at last notice and she worked her magic to get a delivery scheduled within days of our request! It was nice seeing Tyler and Conner again and they did an amazing job.... AGAIN! These guys come prepared. They're polite, efficient, professional and they go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with their services. I'll absolutely call them again in the future! “True story - I'd give Cody, Phil, and Chase more than 5 stars if it was possible. They worked well / complimented each other with the result being me writing this review with zero hesitation. I could not be more pleased. Worth noting for sure... Clearly, outside of the guys having substantial pride of ownership in what they do - The leadership at Higher Ground too is doing something very right. The culture at the company must be spot on. Kudos again to the guys for making something stressful and generally hard (I drove 2000 miles to make Bend be part of my life) easier in the end.
