Application Process

You are encouraged to complete the application below after you have visited a BBN meeting. Having a Sponsor (an existing BBN Member encouraging you to learn more about BBN) is also not required to apply to BBN.  However, in order for your application to move on to a vote for acceptance or denial, applicants must:

  • Visit at least one BBN meeting (you can visit 3 times per year)

  • Meet outside of a BBN meeting with at least two BBN members who are not your sponsor

BBN only has members in non-competing professions, so time is of the essence in completing these steps to “block out” someone else in your profession from being approved before you.  Votes are typically conducted on the last Wednesday of each month if a seat is open.  If your application for membership to BBN is approved, your membership fee must be paid within five business days.
