Katie Morell is the founder of Throughline Spark Studio, bringing more than 20 years of experience in journalism, strategic communications, and consulting to her work with executives and teams.
A former journalist whose work appeared in Fast Company, Bloomberg Businessweek, USA Today, and the San Francisco Chronicle, Katie developed a talent for asking insightful questions, uncovering meaningful connections, and telling stories that inspire action.
Since 2012, she's worked with leaders and organizations across industries, helping them navigate complexity, challenge assumptions, and find clarity. Her experience includes facilitating conversations and workshops for Meta, including a roundtable with the World Health Organization focused on mental health in digital communities.
Katie's particular genius is her ability to ask the questions others aren't asking, connect dots others might miss, and bring out the collective intelligence of a room. She believes the best solutions emerge when people have the space to think differently and build on one another's ideas.
