Born and raised in Central Oregon, I am now married with two daughters, aged 8 and 2, who keep me busy and constantly challenge me to learn and adapt to new experiences every day. In addition to my family life, I am career-oriented and always striving to take the next step forward. I've found a way to pursue my entrepreneurial goals by blending my electrical expertise as a licensed Oregon electrician with my experience in installing motorized retractable screens and rolling shutters, a field I was introduced to during my ten years living in Tucson, Arizona.

Custom Shade Solutions, LLC specializes in the sale and installation of exterior retractable sunshades/sunscreens and retractable rolling shutters; from manually operated to fully automated, installed over windows, doors, patio openings, and any other location where a client finds a need for a screen or shutter. Based in Redmond, Oregon, we primarily serve the three local counties (Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson), and will travel to anywhere in Oregon upon request.
Most of our sales focus on our exterior retractable sunshades/sunscreens, which are custom tailored in size (2ft x 2ft and up to 32ft in width with a 20ft rail height), have an infinite choice of powder coat colors for the screen's housing & rails, hundreds of variations of fabrics (screen materials) to choose from, and several options for means of operation. This allows everyone to find a style that will compliment their home and business at an affordable price. Retractable screens excel in the Spring, Summer and Fall months in creating comfortable living areas and multi-season patios through taming the Sun's light, blocking heat, blocking UV rays, blocking wind, creating privacy, as well as retaining heat within enclosed patios during cooler months.
Rolling shutters are very similar in nature to the retractable screens. Rather than a permeable screen mesh, insulated metal 'slats' are rolled down and retracted instead. This gives opportunity for complete blackout options for windows, doors and patios, as well as security, inclement weather protection for your homes and businesses, and absolute privacy, all while maintaining excellent energy savings and insulation from exterior temperatures both hot and cold.
Beyond exterior retractables, we offer interior motorized retractable screens with all of the same options, though offering a wider array of screen fabrics to choose from!
